BMV Optical Technologies Inc. was incorporated in May, 2001 by Tom Millen and Terry Vineham. The company is internally funded and owner-operated.

Tom Millen, President
Before establishing BMV, Tom acquired 17 years of experience in the private sector and at the National Research Council of Canada, designing and depositing thin films for the optics industry. In addition to his thin film expertise,  Tom has become a source of knowledge on optical components and  the North American optical industry .

Terry Vineham, Vice President, Operations
Terry's professional background includes 19 years at the National Research Council of Canada, Optics Fabrication Facility in Ottawa. Throughout his 24 year career, he has been involved in the fabrication of custom, precision optical components and systems.
