Lens Production

Using just five basic lens forms, we can create an infinite number of variations. By working with many variations (spherical, cylindrical or spherical-cylindrical) of lenses, BMV has the capability to make it . Lenses, such as singlets, cemented doublets, triplets and multi-element configurations, form the core of our business. Check out some examples of our work.

Drilled & machined lenses.
	Machined 150mm diameter triplet lens.
Machined 150mm diameter lens.  Large lenses, such as  these 150mm diameter lenses, are manufactured by the dozens. These 4mm diameter lenses, with micron precision radius,  10th wave irregularity  are parallel to 1 arc-minute. Using economical manufacturing processes, BMV makes these lenses by the thousands.
	We manufacture a large variety of cylindrical lenses on a regular basis.

	Zinc selenide optics. This is an example of the wide range of substrate materials which we use to manufacture lenses.
